Tour de Golf Claro evoluciona y se convierte en La Copa Claro

La empresa de telecomunicaciones Claro dio a conocer el nuevo formato de su Tour de Golf Claro que luego de 10 años evoluciona para convertirse en La Copa Claro de Golf.

Durante el encuentro que tuvo lugar en Bottega Fratelli, Shariff Quiñones Gerente de Promociones y Patrocinios de  la empresa, realizó un recuento histórico del apoyo que Claro ha dispensado al deporte por más de 87 años y enfatizó que después de 10 años de haber realizado el Tour de Golf Claro, han decidido dar un cambio al formato, con el fin de tener una participación más activa en los torneos que la empresa patrocina durante todo el año, como socio estratégico.

“Lo que antes se llamaba Tour Claro, lo vemos ahora como Copa Claro de Golf”, lo que es motivo de orgullo para nosotros”. Quiñones, manifestó que los ganadores serán seleccionados de los torneos aliados: Ambassador’s Cup de la AMCHAMRD, ADOZONA Golf Cup, Grand Thomas Casa de Campo, Copa ACIS y el Torneo BM Cargo, de las categorías A, B y C, quienes jugarán en la final que se realizará el próximo 1 de septiembre en Casa de Campo, donde se seleccionarán los campeones de la edición 2018 de la copa.

Este evento tendrá la novedad de escoger una pareja al azar, quienes acompañarán a los ganadores a presenciar la final de la FEDEX CUP en Atlanta del 19 al 24 de septiembre.

Asimismo, durante la actividad Rafael Octavio Castillos,Director Técnico del Tour explicó las nuevas reglas de la Copa, que también se jugará en el formato bestball.

La Copa Claro de Golf cuenta con el apoyo de Samsung aliado estratégico de la empresa.

Histórico

El Tour Claro inició con la idea de un torneo de golf para compartir con clientes y relacionados del sector empresarial. Con el tiempo se convirtió en una justa deportiva entre amigos, donde se congregan los mejores jugadores, en un ambiente altamente competitivo. A través de un esquema de competencia que involucra la innovación y la tecnología, llevado a los participantes a recorrer los más importantes campos de todo el país.
