Con su Primera Parada de 2017 el 8 abril en Las Aromas.
La empresa de telecomunicaciones Claro ofreció un cóctel para dar a conocer los detalles de su próximo Tour de Golf y celebrar los diez años de su creación, recorriendo los diversos campos de golf del país.
Durante el encuentro, Shariff Quiñones, Gerente de Promociones y Patrocinios de Claro, manifestó que la empresa se siente honrada de celebrar diez años y 50 paradas, llevando a sus jugadores una competencia que involucra innovación y tecnología, calificada como uno de los principales torneos del país, en el que participan los mejores jugadores de golf dominicanos.
Quiñones, expresó que para Claro es motivo de orgullo que su torneo de golf conjugue el factor social con la sana competencia, pues los jugadores no solo van a disfrutar de un gran juego, sino que aportan a una causa social, debido a que parte de los fondos recaudados son destinados a los programas de responsabilidad social de la empresa.
Asimismo expresó, que igual que en años anteriores, el tour contará con la dirección técnica de Rafael Octavio Castillos, y que la competencia deportiva comprenderá cuatro paradas regulares con la celebración de una gran final, que lleva a los ganadores de todas las paradas al Tour Championship, en Atlanta, último evento de la FedEx Cup, que se jugará en el East Lake Golf Club.
El ejecutivo de Claro, explicó la logística y el formato de juego en cada parada, donde se entregarán premios a los tres primeros lugares de cada categoría, además del mejor score bruto, el disparo más cerca a la bandera, el drive más preciso y el más largo. Sostuvo que los ganadores de los tres primeros lugares de las categorías A y B participarán en la gran final de campeones.
Durante el evento, celebrado en el restaurante Bottega Fratteli, los invitados disfrutaron de la presentación de un video con las impresiones de los campos recorridos y las jugadas más impactantes del torneo pasado, así como también, las incidencias en la FedEx Cup 2016, en el East Lake Golf Club, de Atlanta, Georgia.
La actividad contó con el apoyo de Samsung, Delta Airlines, LG, Huawei, Banco Popular, Tiendas Corripio, AFP Siembra, Alcatel, Arbaje Tours, Iparra del Caribe, Diageo, Mitre, J&M Alvarez, Stella Artois, Coca Cola. Félix Olivo fungió como maestro de ceremonias y dio a conocer los campos y las fechas en que se realizará la esperada competencia.
