La Asociación PQ anunció la celebración y los detalles de su tradicional Torneo de Golf PQ 2021, una de las citas más exclusiva de golf del país; y la información se dio a conocer durante un encuentro realizado en las instalaciones del Campus Humano, donde estuvieron presentes los miembros de la Asociación PQ, jugadores, patrocinadores, miembros de la prensa e invitados especiales.
El torneo que se realiza con el objetivo principal de beneficiar a diversas causas sociales mediante fondos recaudados de patrocinadores y jugadores está pautado para el próximo 4 de diciembre, en las instalaciones de La Romana Country Club, en Casa de Campo.
Miguel Roig, presidente de la Asociación PQ destacó que, «Como siempre el Torneo PQ 2021 será un espléndido evento en el campo de golf, con todas las amenidades acostumbradas y las medidas de bioseguridad necesarias para el disfrute de todos los asistentes. Este torneo es conocido como el de más impacto social en el país, por lo que este año los fondos recaudados en el evento serán destinados a las Fundaciones Amigos contra el cáncer infantil, Instituto de ayuda al sordo Santa Rosa y Matrimonio Feliz».
Al cumplir sus 30 años de fundado, esta versión estará dedicada a Kalil Haché, quien participó de forma ininterrumpida en el torneo PQ desde 1991 hasta el 2019.
El torneo PQ 2021 se jugará en modalidad Scramble de cuatro jugadores con la participación de 128 jugadores. Raúl Cendoya será el director técnico.
La directiva de la Asociación PQ está integrada por Carlos José Martí, Andrés Marranzini, Antonio Cáceres, Miguel Roig, Gustavo Turull, Ferdinando Lamarche, Omar Elías Domingo Bermúdez, Julio Zeller, Juan F. Mayol, Rodolfo Dietsch, Francisco Caro.
